I am wondering if someone can tell me if you need to be registered for the conference to sign up for the app.  

If you do not need to be registered, does the app check if you are registered before providing the list of attendees?

I am happy to provide my name and email to conference attendees, but would prefer not to be part of a list that anyone in the general public can register for and access.

I followed the instruction given by Kathi to Elise to go to
https://app.core-apps.com/iajgs2018 but whilst I could see it on my browser
could not find a way to download.

At one point I was asked for email and password. Do these relate to the main
conference website or am I supposed to create an additional password? 

All very confusing! I hope someone techie out there can clarify for me!
Incidentally a phone link for US mobile phones isn't much help for the rest
of us..
